The Multi-Sensory Phonics Journey
- Enriched Oral Vocabulary: Before any symbols are introduced, children engage in rich classification cards, poetry recitation, and guided storytelling circles.
- Sandpaper Letters: The child traces cursive textured sandpaper letters with their index and middle fingers while voicing the phonetic sound, connecting touch, sight, and sound simultaneously.
- The Moveable Alphabet: Children can compose full stories and sentences with wooden cutout letters long before their hand muscles are strong enough to grip a pencil.
